App Privacy Policy
Yendo is a platform for creating, organizing and sharing plans and activities. Our services offer a simple and dynamic way to share and create activities and events of all kinds with your friends or strangers.
When you use these services, you share with us certain information that may be valuable to you. For this reason, Yendo is committed to transparency in terms of what information is collected, how it is used and with whom or how it is shared, as well as the options you have to access, update and delete any personal information you wish.
We have tried to make our Privacy Policy as simple and transparent as possible so that there is no legal jargon to complicate your understanding. If you have any questions regarding our Privacy Policy, you can contact us at [email protected].
Before registering with Yendo, you should read this Privacy and Data Protection Policy. By registering, you declare that you have read and expressly consent to this Privacy and Data Protection Policy.
We collect three basic categories of information:
- Information you provide directly to us.
- Information we collect when you use our services.
- Information we collect from third parties.
Please, see below for more details about each category.
When you interact with our services, we collect the information you provide to us. For example, most of our services require you to create a Yendo account, so we need to collect some essential details about you, such as your name, username, password, email address, gender, phone number and date of birth. We may also ask you to provide us with additional information that will be publicly visible on our services, such as a profile picture. We will also ask you to provide us with a debit or credit card number and related account information for other services.
Of course, you will provide us with any information sent to us through Yendo in the form of a message, chat or post. Don't forget that all messages, chats and any content you share with users can be saved or copied by them outside of the app. Therefore, the same common sense that applies to the Internet also applies to Yendo. Do not send messages or share content you do not want someone to save or share.
When you contact us through customer service or other means, we collect any information you provide or that we need to resolve your question.
When you use our services, we collect information about which services you use and how you use them. We may know, for example, that you have viewed a particular plan or a specific person's profile. Below is a complete explanation of the types of information we collect when you use our services:
- Usage information. We collect information about your activity through our services. For
example, we may collect information about the following:
- How you interact with our services, such as what activities you see in the app, what activities you do yourself and are interested in, what searches you perform, whether you create public or private plans and who you share them with.
- The way you communicate with other Yendo users. Their names, the time and date of communications, the number of messages you exchange with your friends, which friends you exchange the most messages with, and your interactions with messages (for example, when you open a message or take a screenshot).
- Content information. We collect content you create on our services and information about the content you create or provide, for example, whether the recipient viewed the content and its metadata.
- Device address book. Since the purpose of Yendo is primarily related to communicating with friends, we may collect, with your consent, information from your device's address book.
- Camera and photos. For many of our services, we are required to collect images and other data from your device's camera and photos. For example, you will not be able to send Yendos or upload photos from your device unless we can access the camera or photos.
- Location information. When you use our services, we may collect information about your location. With your consent, we may also collect information about your precise location through GPS, wireless networks, cell towers, Wi-Fi hotspots and other sensors, such as gyroscopes, accelerometers and compasses.
- Information is collected through cookies and other technologies. Like most online services and mobile applications, we may use cookies and other technologies, such as web beacons, web storage and unique advertising identifiers, to collect information about your activity, browser and device. We may also use these technologies to collect information when you interact with services we offer through one of our partners, such as advertisements and marketing features. Most web browsers are set by default to accept cookies. If you prefer, you can delete or refuse the setting of cookies through your browser or device settings. - Advertisers, app developers, publishers and other third parties may also share information with us. We may use this information, among other things, to target ads or measure their performance.

- Content you post or submit. The extent to which your content is shared depends on your settings and the type of service you use. For example, you may be able to send a message to only one friend you have selected, but any user will be able to see what you post on your profile if you have posted it as public content.

following information with all Yendo users, our business partners and the general public:

on our behalf, such as measuring and optimizing ads' performance and delivering the most
relevant ads, including on third-party websites and apps.
- We may share information about you with business partners who provide services and functionality on our platform.
- We may share information about you, such as device and usage information, to help us and third parties prevent fraud.

We may also share with third parties who provide services or carry out projects for us aggregated data that does not reveal your personal identity or where any identifying marks have been removed.
Our services may contain third party content and integrations. Through these integrations, you may provide information to third parties and Yendo. We are not responsible for how these third parties collect or use your information. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of all third-party services you visit or use, including those third parties you interact with through our services.
The personal data provided will be kept for the time necessary to provide the requested service and for the legally established periods.
We keep other types of information for longer. For example:
- We store your basic account information (such as name, phone number and email address) and your friend's list, until you ask us to delete it.
- We store location information according to different periods depending on your accuracy and the services you use.
- We constantly collect and update information about what you may or may not like so that we can provide you with more relevant content and advertising.
If you ever decide to stop using Yendo, you can ask us to delete your account. We will also delete most of the information we have collected about you after a period of inactivity on your part, but don't worry; we will try to contact you first.
Although our systems are designed to execute our deletion practices automatically, we cannot guarantee that deletion will be completed within a specified period. There may be legal requirements to store your data. We may need to suspend such deletion practices if we receive a valid legal process requesting that we preserve content. If we receive reports of abuse, or if our automated systems detect abuse or other violations of rights in your account or content created by you. Finally, we may also retain certain information for backup or security purposes for a limited period or as the law requires.
We want you to have complete control over your information, so we provide you with the following tools.
- Access, correction and portability. You can access and edit most of your basic account information directly in our apps. Because your privacy is important to us, we may ask you to verify your identity or provide us with additional information before allowing access to or updating your personal information. We may also deny your request to access or update personal information for various reasons, for example, if the request jeopardizes the privacy of other users or is otherwise unlawful.
- Withdrawal of consent. In most cases, if you allow us to use your information, you can simply revoke your permission by changing the app's settings or your device (if it offers those options). Of course, if you do so, some services may lose their full functionality.
- Removal. While we hope you will remain a Yendo user forever, if you ever wish to delete your account for any reason, do so from the personal information window in the app. You also can delete specific information from the app, such as photos or messages.
- Communication with other users. Information shared with other users is solely your responsibility.
